ArtServe is holding two regional events, both on 8 March, one in Swindon and one in Stockport. These events are an opportunity to meet with other Christian creatives, to practise creative skills and learn new ones, and to share our creative faith journeys together.

Swindon Regional Day

We are continuing our 2024 festival theme of Creating Harmony by focusing on creating harmony within ourselves, our homes, our churches, and where we live and work.

We have picked a Bible verse as our focus, which will run throughout the day in the various workshops and activities – ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’ John 14:27

At both events there will be a finger labyrinth focus as part of a prayer station, which will be available throughout the day, and a colouring table for those who may wish to take a little quiet time for themselves.

All materials will be provided, although it would be helpful if you could bring a Bible.

Swindon programme

10.00 am – Refreshments and welcome
10.30 am – Workshop 1
11.50 am – Workshop 2

• Creating Harmony in difficult situations
• Wellbeing jars and notes to self
• The dove – a symbol of peace
• Lectio Divina and Bible Journaling with music
• Woven bookmarks

Stockport programme

3.15 pm – Prayer time

You will be able to choose from the following workshops, some of which will run concurrently:

• West End musicals and theology
• Crafts linked to Bible readings
• Bible Journaling
• Lectio Divina

There is no charge for the day, although donations to cover costs would be appreciated.
