Kate Austin runs pray-and-paint workshops and quiet days, and hosts art exhibitions.

Her website is called ChristArt . Each of her paintings is accompanied by a verse and she hopes you will find the following example useful.

The Diamond

With tenderness, our Father
Exposes our flaws to His light
Rubs down and restores,
Polishes until perfect
Then gazes at its beauty for a moment
Before turning the diamond
To expose another flaw
And so the process continues
Until perfection is complete
