Paul McDowell has produced a set of cross-references between Singing the Faith (the new Methodist Church hymn collection), Hymns and Psalms, Songs of Fellowship (volumes 1-4), and New Hymns and Worship Songs (Kevin Mayhew, 1996). These are all now available for ArtServe members to download.
Each of the four books is cross-referenced, in numerical order, to the other three. The cross-references are available both as individual PDF files and as a spreadsheet workbook.
There is also a cross-reference in StF first line order. This is based on the StF/HP cross-reference provided by Singing the Faith Plus (which Paul acknowledges with thanks). Additional cross references to NHWS and SOF, and indications of differences between books are Paul's own. He has also corrected a number of errors and omissions.

Potential users may like to note the following comment on the Singing the Faith Plus website:
"We have considered publishing ... cross-references with other publications. However, after a lot of thought, we feel that to do so could be less, rather than more, helpful owing to the very many differences between versions of hymns in different publications."
