Our mission statement reflects our aims and objectives.

ArtServe works on its own or in partnership with others to:

  • encourage and develop the use of all creative art forms which contribute to the life of the church;

  • enable active participants in the arts, at all levels, to develop their skills and talents; and

  • publicise and support initiatives by other organisations which contribute to the fulfilment of the objects of ArtServe.

ArtServe seeks to do this through a range of activities such as:

  • developing resources and materials to assist those who practise creative arts in worship;

  • maintaining appropriate channels of communication such as journals and/or websites to promote the awareness of these resources and the activities and objects of ArtServe; and

  • arranging conferences and training workshops.
